(1) For Railways: The Board may request the Government of Nepal to acquire the required land in accordance with the prevailing law.
(2) When making a request according to sub-section (1), the land required for the railway shall be studied and evaluated and the land acquisition plan for such land and all the details required for land acquisition shall be submitted in accordance with the prevailing law.
(3) If a request is made according to sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may allow the board to acquire the land in accordance with the prevailing law.
(4) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this section, if any land owned by the Government of Nepal is necessary for the purpose of railways, the Government of Nepal shall, at the request of the Board, provide such land to the Board.
